A new Deputy Minister of Defense has been appointed.
By the decree of the Head of State, Bakytbek Sydykov has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Ruslan Shpekbaev has been relieved of his duties as the Deputy Minister of Defense.
According to media reports, Bakytbek Sydykov previously held the position of Chief of Armament of the Armed Forces.
