Upon the directive of the Minister of Defence, a composite unit of military medics is conducting activities to provide medical and psychological assistance to personnel, as reported by Sarbaz.kz citing the department's press service.

The examinations are being carried out at a mobile field hospital provided by the military hospital in Taldykorgan. The hospital is equipped with the necessary facilities for conducting various laboratory, radiological, ultrasonographic, and endoscopic studies. The modern equipment allows for the detection of latent conditions and timely delivery of effective medical assistance, the department noted.

Within the composite unit of military medics, a specialist psychologist is available to provide psychological aid to service members of all categories and their family members. Special attention is given to conscripted soldiers who may face challenges in adapting to the military environment. The psychologist employs individual and group methods of work, and conducts developmental and corrective sessions aimed at fostering cohesion within the military collective and enhancing communication skills.

The composite unit of military medics brings together specialised professionals from military hospitals in Taldykorgan, Almaty, Semey, and Ayagoz, as well as the Kazakhstan-Russian Medical University.

Approximately 700 individuals have undergone medical examinations. Service members are receiving necessary specialized medical care without interruption to their duty. The activities will continue until July 31st.
