Officers from the Kyzylorda station's police precinct successfully rescued a 35-year-old man who was attempting to jump from an automobile bridge, according to a report by Sarbaz.kz citing the Regional Police Department.
As per police information, the incident occurred on August 11, 2023, at approximately 16:00. The local police station received a report that an unknown man was contemplating suicide by jumping off an automobile bridge located at the 2827th kilometer of the Kyzylorda - Belkol railway route.
"This incident was registered with the Investigation and Inquiries Unit of the Kyzylorda station's police precinct. An investigative-operational group and officers from the administrative police department were dispatched to the scene," stated the police precinct.
Reportedly, officers from the administrative police department, Police Senior Lieutenant Serik Asanov, Police Captain Asyl Quanyshev, and Police Lieutenant Almat Akhmetov, successfully averted the suicide attempt of the 1988-born citizen, a resident of Kyzylorda. Railway workers also participated in the operation to save the individual.
