Almabaev has triumphed over his opponent in the 2nd Round
On the night of August 5th to 6th, 29-year-old Asu Almabaev participated in a UFC tournament in Nashville, where he faced off against Jamaican representative Ode Osborn (12-5), as reported by Sarbaz.kz.
The bout took place in the bantamweight division. Almabaev clinched victory in the second round, executing a submission hold.
Born on January 25, 1994, in the village of Zhanatalap (Kazakhstan), Asu Almabaev grew up as an active boy, raised by his grandfather and grandmother until the age of ten. At the age of five, Asu was introduced to the national wrestling section.
When Asu was in the fifth grade, he moved with his family to Almaty, where he engaged in other sports disciplines: karate, boxing, and MMA.
