Timur Muratov, the Head of the Public Healthcare Department of Astana, has vacated his post. He shared this information on his Facebook page, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.
"Three years... During this time, together with all of you, we have improved the quality of medical care, enhanced priority areas, created comfortable working conditions, and daily pursued what brought us to the field of medicine – saving lives and advocating for the well-being of citizens. Together, we faced the daunting challenge of the new decade – the coronavirus infection," wrote Timur Muratov in his post.
It is noteworthy that Muratov was appointed as the Head of the City Healthcare Department in July 2020, during the peak of the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
In the field of medicine, Muratov has over 20 years of experience. He began his career as a doctor at City Polyclinic No. 6. Over the years, he served as the head of a department at City Hospital No. 2, Deputy Chief Physician in charge of medical service quality control at City Hospital No. 2, and Chief Physician of Akmolinsk Regional Hospital No. 2.
