The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan has announced the conscription for military training of eligible individuals, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.
The military training will take place in the 22326th Garrison of the Guard. According to the plan, conscripts will be summoned for the training by the departments of defense in Almaty, Almaty Region, and Zhambyl Region.
In total, 1,500 individuals will participate, including 189 officers, 275 sergeants, and 1,036 soldiers.
These activities are organized in accordance with Article 65 of the Rules for the Organization and Conduct of Conscription of Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Military Service, approved by the Government Decree of 15 May 2012.
Based on this document, the Department of Organizational-Mobilization Work of the Ministry of Defense has prepared an order from the head of the defense department dated 28 March 2023 "On the Conscription of Eligible Individuals for Military Training in 2023."
The primary objective of military training with conscripts is to provide education and improve practical skills, maintain the required level of military readiness, and prepare conscripts for combat deployment.
