In Almaty, 164 cadets of the Ministry of Defense RK Military Technical School swore their military oath, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing the department's press service.

The solemn ceremony included speeches by graduates' parents and Armed Forces veterans. A concert program was organized for the event's guests, families, and friends of the cadets, and paratrooper servicemen demonstrated elements of hand-to-hand combat.

"I would like to express immense gratitude to the teaching staff of the Military Technical School for their professionalism and patience in organizing our education. I have discovered a lot for myself. I plan to align my destiny with military service," said Sultanmurat Gasyr, a student of the Military Technical School.

Since the beginning of 2023, a total of 652 cadets have undergone training at the Almaty Military Technical School. According to Colonel Miras Zhilgildin, the director of the Military Technical School, this is a pilot project. Currently, 30 individuals have been trained in the "gas and electric welder" specialization. These young people now possess certificates and will soon receive military tickets.

The Almaty Military Technical School prepares the largest number of military specialists compared to other branches of Military Technical Schools. Recently, a training program related to rear and technical support has been introduced, encompassing over 10 specialties associated with military equipment maintenance and repair, provisioning of sustenance, clothing, and bath-laundry services in field conditions. Upon enrollment, students undergo tactical, physical, and firearms training as part of the Young Fighter Course. They learn to shoot, disassemble and assemble rifles, and grasp the fundamentals of military discipline.
