In his Address to the People of Kazakhstan, the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has emphasised the importance of the psychological well-being of the younger generation.
He instructed the development of an effective program to assist victims of violence and bullying, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.
"As the Head of State, I demand tougher penalties for any form of violence against minors. Special attention should be paid to the safety of road infrastructure, buildings, clothing, and food for children. The mental health of the younger generation is also important. It is necessary to strengthen psychological support services in educational institutions, establish a single helpline, and develop an effective program to assist victims of violence and bullying," stated the Head of State.
Additionally, he called for a consistent improvement in the quality of education and the enhancement of teachers' competencies to ensure that every child receives a quality school education. The term "quality" is pivotal here, emphasised the President.
