The Head of State has called for cooperation with leading international companies.
According to experts' forecasts, the world will invest over one trillion dollars in the field of artificial intelligence technologies in the next few years. Against this backdrop, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev believes that Kazakhstan can make a qualitative leap towards a knowledge-based economy, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.
"We must establish cooperation with leading international companies. We also need to focus on the training of qualified specialists. At least three well-known universities should engage in training personnel and conducting research in this field. Our country can become a platform for selling computing power to global players. Therefore, it is necessary to create the most attractive conditions, including incentives to attract investments in the construction of large data centers and promote Kazakhstan's interests in the field of data storage and processing," stated the President.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the legislative consolidation of the guiding principles of digitalization. To achieve this, the government, the expert community, and parliament members must develop an industry document.
