During a meeting with the Pavlodar community, Akim (governor) of Pavlodar Region, Asain Bakhyanov, announced the decision to relieve Erzhan Imanzaipov of his position as the Akim (Mayor) of Pavlodar, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing the press service of the Pavlodar Region Akimat (local government).
The reason for this decision, according to the regional head, is the improper organization of work on preventing and combating corruption among subordinates, a lack of the required control over the implementation of important projects for the development and improvement of the regional center that are crucial for the city's residents, and a weakening of communication between the city's Akimat and the population of Pavlodar.
The apparatus of the regional Akim has been instructed to submit the relevant representation to the President's administration.
