General Colonel Ruslan Zhaksylykov, the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, has arrived in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, for a working visit.
During the visit, the heads of the defense agencies, General Colonel Ruslan Zhaksylykov and General Lieutenant Baktybek Bekbolotov, laid wreaths at the Eternal Flame in Victory Square, paying tribute to the memory of fallen soldiers with a moment of silence, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan's press service.
At the ministerial meeting, discussions revolved around regional security issues and the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
As a reminder, a joint tactical-special exercise called "Erdik" is currently taking place at the Edelweiss Training Center in Balykchy, Issyk-Kul Region.
