Following this, President Tokayev toured the exhibition halls featuring various artifacts. The Royal Hanoi Citadel, where the military museum is situated, has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The museum's exhibition, displayed across thirty viewing halls, comprises approximately 160,000 items and documents related to the history of the formation and development of Vietnam's armed forces.

Visitors to the museum have the opportunity to view combat vehicles and weaponry that were directly involved in the country's fight for independence.
