Deputy Minister of Defense, M. Talasov, has inspected the readiness of military facilities in the garrisons.
The Deputy Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Muhamedzhan Talasov, has assessed the preparation of military units for the heating season. This information comes from the press service of the defense department, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.
In four garrisons, namely Almaty, Zhetigen, Konaev, and Guards, the readiness of over 40 boiler rooms was checked. Local operators have been trained and briefed, and coal has been delivered to the military unit warehouses.
"The boiler rooms have undergone hydraulic tests of the heating systems and control firings. Emergency heating networks have been replaced, and defectoscopy of heating boilers has been carried out, with replacements where necessary," the statement said.
Additionally, M. Talasov inspected repair and construction work on new barracks. As of today, the major repairs of 20 buildings have been completed. Another 80 facilities located on the territories of military units are undergoing repairs. The work is progressing according to schedule, as confirmed by the department.
