During the visit, discussions were held between Arman Asenov and the Head of the Spirituality and Enlightenment Center of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel Valijon Dadajonov, on matters related to bilateral cooperation in the sphere of military-patriotic education for the younger generation, reports Sarbaz.kz, citing the Ministry of Defence of Kazakhstan

The meeting between the chairpersons of the republican military-patriotic youth movements "Zhas Sarbaz" and "Vatan Tayanchi," Major Meirbek Mendygaliyev and Colonel Bakhrrom Zulfikorov, touched upon the organisation of joint events for the year 2024.

Both parties explored the possibility of further participation by the members of the "Vatan Tayanchi" movement in the Republic of Kazakhstan's annual youth military-patriotic gathering, "Aibyn-2024."

In Samarkand, the Kazakh delegation attended a solemn ceremony for the induction of new members into the "Vatan Tayanchi" movement. The organisers had prepared an extensive program for the participants, including presentations of the work of the military-technical school's students, demonstrations of hand-to-hand combat techniques, and a performance by a military orchestra.

During their visit, the Kazakh delegation also had the opportunity to explore various historical and cultural landmarks in Samarkand, including the "Park of Victory" memorial complex and the "Yangi Uzbekiston" park in the capital city.
