Kazakhstan's military experts conducted an aerial inspection of the designated area.
Under the 2011 Vienna Document aimed at fostering trust and security, representatives from the Arms Control and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Defense, Air Defense Forces, and Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan carried out an inspection of the "specified area" on the territory of the Kingdom of Denmark, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.
To verify any military activities or major military exercises requiring prior notification in the inspected area, Kazakh military experts performed an aerial reconnaissance of the designated zone.
During visits to the military facilities of the Ground Forces and the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Denmark, in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Document, inspectors received detailed information from unit commanders regarding the army's organizational structure, personnel numbers, the quantity of main weapon systems, and military equipment.
The inspection proceeded in an atmosphere of cooperation and transparency. Kazakhstan's inspection group confirmed full compliance with international obligations under the Vienna Document and expressed gratitude to the representatives of the Danish Armed Forces for their assistance in conducting the inspection.
