The Head of State spoke at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit

The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, addressed the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Sarbaz.kz presents the key points from the President's speech:

• Establish a joint Investment Fund. The International Financial Center "Astana" could serve as a platform to stimulate investments in regional SCO projects.
• Create "SCO Economic Preferences" to enhance the investment attractiveness of the organization.
• Kazakhstan will present the initiative "On global unity for a fair world and harmony."
• Adopt the SCO Anti-Narcotics Strategy for 2024-2029.
• Update Cooperation Programs on combating terrorism, separatism, and extremism for 2025-2027.
