Kazakhstan Achieves Sensational Bronze Medal at World Cup Shotgun Shooting

In a surprising turn of events, Corporal Asem Orynbai of the Armed Forces Sports Committee - CSK MO RK, secured a bronze medal at the World Cup stage of shotgun shooting, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing the department's press service.

The global tournament took place in the Italian city of Lonato, featuring the participation of approximately 350 athletes from over 40 countries.

In the mixed team "Skeet mixed team" event, Corporal Asem Orynbai, partnering with Eduard Yeshchenko, clinched the bronze medal.

"Our athletes demonstrated impressive performances. Following this tournament, we will be preparing for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris," shared Senior Sergeant Olga Vazhnina, Head of the Department of Preparatory Training for Staff Teams (Olympic Sports).

Asem Orynbai boasts a series of victories: in 2018, she claimed the silver medal in the Asian Shotgun Championships in Al-Kuwait (Kuwait), and in 2021, she secured the bronze medal in the World Cup in Cairo (Egypt).

In May of the current year, during the "Skeet" final in the mixed pairs section of shotgun shooting held in Almaty, Corporal Asem Orynbai clinched the silver medal in the World Cup.
