At the training range of the 61993 military unit "Iliyskiy," introductory courses in army tactical shooting were conducted.
Fifty-two servicemen from various units of the country's Armed Forces participated in the training course. At the conclusion of the training, a competition was held to determine the best marksmen.
Among the men, Sergeant Erzhan Yeslyamov from the Eastern Special Operations Regiment claimed the first place, Major Yesbol Kanlibayev from the Main Military Police Directorate secured the second position, and Major Dauren Nursaitov from the Military Institute of Ground Forces took the third spot.
In the women's category, the top results were achieved by Senior Lieutenant Zhanelya Serikbayeva, followed by Sergeant Diana Kharchenko in second place, and Senior Sergeant Olga Vazhnina in third place. All of them are representatives of the Sports Committee of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Central Sports Club.
According to Colonel Arman Abeuov, the Chairman of the Sports Committee of the Ministry of Defense – Central Sports Club, during the army tactical shooting sessions, servicemen enhance skills that are relevant in urban combat.
"Our developed courses aim to enhance the professional expertise of servicemen, who must be capable of shooting under any conditions: while moving, standing, from a kneeling position, and at moving targets," noted A. Abeuov.
