On September 10th, the fourth annual Charity Music Run took place in Almaty, with 1,500 participants joining the event, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.

This year, Charity Music Run solidified its status as a family-oriented event. In addition to the run, an extensive entertainment program was organized for the entire family. The event featured musical performances, a large-scale show program, including animated performances for children.

The Charity Music Run is a charitable event. All participants and sponsors of Charity Music Run 2023 provided support to children. All funds raised from registration and sponsorship will be used to purchase necessary medical equipment for the Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery (NCPiPS).

Following the races, winners and runners-up received valuable prizes from the organizers, while their family members enjoyed a day filled with energy and positive emotions.

"I've been running for just eight months. At first, it was challenging, but then I got hooked. Charity Music Run is my second race, where I became a winner. I decided to participate in it to prepare and beat my personal record, but it didn't happen. Running was tough on the inclines, but I tried not to deviate from my pace and go confidently towards my goal. These races helped me better understand my strengths and weaknesses," said the women's 5 km race winner, Alsou Shamsudinova.

Foreign guests also took part in the run. Seventeen-year-old Hunter Morgan from the United States recently arrived in Kazakhstan as part of a high school exchange program.

"I came to Kazakhstan through a program where high school students from different countries have the opportunity to live in another country and immerse themselves in the culture and daily life of the local population, as well as learn the language. Currently, I live with a family from Almaty. This family helps me integrate into the new society, adapt to the new school, and learn more about the culture and history of Kazakhstan. In the future, I really want to actively participate in other competitions in Kazakhstan and make as many friends as possible," said Hunter Morgan.

Charity Music Run took place as part of the celebration of Almaty City on the territory of the Almaty Arena sports complex.
