In the quarter-finals of the 66-kilogram weight category, Bogdanova faced Mongolia's Tsetsegdari Myagmarsuren. This bout ended in a unanimous decision victory for the Kazakh athlete.
As a result, Natalya Bogdanova has advanced to the semi-finals of the continental championship, ensuring herself at least a bronze medal. Earlier in the tournament, the Kazakhstan athlete also secured a victory over Ragad Ibrahim Al-Naimi from Saudi Arabia, and this victory was achieved by a stoppage.
