Russian company Infratech, based in Moscow and specialising in the development of thermal and night vision equipment, has introduced its new night vision goggles concept, IT-ONV-01, featuring two sets of dual-sensor tubes, as reported by Sarbaz.kz via Defensa.com.

These panoramic night vision goggles incorporate four Russian-made sensor tubes that correspond to 3rd Generation Plus sensors, ensuring clear imagery in nighttime conditions, as well as in closed buildings and confined spaces.

The development was unveiled at the "Army-2023" forum. The panoramic night goggles come with a movable frame that allows them to be attached to helmet mounts. The goggles can also be folded when not in use, and with quick hand movement, they can be brought into working mode.

The IT-ONV-01 system offers a 148-degree horizontal field of view. The goggles feature adjustable diopters for individual customization, can operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to +50 degrees Celsius, and weigh just 890 grams.

An additional highlight of this development is the use of four CR123 alkaline batteries attached to the rear of the housing, storing enough energy to provide up to 30 hours of continuous device operation.

It's worth noting that, according to some sources, these panoramic goggles are already being supplied to the military. This device represents a significant step forward in Russian military technology.
