The 1st International Festival of Military Orchestras, "Astana - Madeniet Kerueni," will take place from July 6th to 8th in the capital city of Astana.
For over two weeks now, the Central Military Orchestra of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan has been preparing for the international festival, "Astana - Madeniet Kerueni." Correspondents from Sarbaz.kz have visited the orchestra's rehearsal.
The military musicians have put together a diverse program that will showcase the full extent of their talent; however, the performance lineup is currently being kept under wraps. The 1st International Festival of Military Orchestras, "Astana - Madeniet Kerueni," will be held in the capital city from July 6th to 8th. Ensembles from Japan, India, China, Russia, and other countries will participate in the event.
The festival will commence with an opening ceremony on July 6th at 19:30 in the amphitheater on the capital's embankment. The following day at 20:00, residents of the capital will have the opportunity to witness a performance shows in multiple places around the city, including: The Central Park, inside the Khan Shatyr shopping mall, and at the square near the Bayterek monument. The festival will culminate in a spectacular show on July 8th at 12:00 in the Barys Arena Ice Palace, and admission will be free for anyone wishing to attend.
The Central Military Orchestra of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan was established on November 8th, 1995. For many years, the ensemble has captivated audiences with a rich repertoire, introducing listeners to music of various genres and styles.
