In Seoul, the first military parade since 2013 took place. The event involved more than 3,700 military personnel and 170 pieces of military equipment, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing Yonhao News Agency.

"This is the first parade of its kind held at a time when Seoul has stepped up the strengthening of its defense capabilities amid ongoing attempts by Pyongyang to develop technologies for nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction," emphasised the agency's journalists.

The parade was held to commemorate South Korean Armed Forces Day. The procession showcased K2 tanks and UAVs.

Among the attendees at the parade were President of South Korea Moon Jae-in, Minister of Defense Suh Wook, as well as representatives from the military command. Additionally, 300 U.S. military personnel took part in the event.
