Israel has initiated the transfer of heavy military equipment to the Gaza Strip border.
The Israeli Cabinet for Military and Political Affairs has invoked Article 40-Aleph, officially declaring a state of war from the moment of issuance, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.
The last time Article 40-Aleph was used was in 1973. The IDF can now operate autonomously at its discretion, with the obligation to report to the political leadership, according to "Voice of Israel."
"We have objectives for the next 12 hours. Put an end to the Gaza enclave. Take control of the entire enclave and eliminate all terrorists on our territory," said an Israeli army representative.
Israel has begun transporting heavy military equipment to the border with the Gaza Strip.
