More than 157 people have lost their lives due to the devastating earthquake.
Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a telegram of condolences to the President of Nepal, Ram Chandra Paudel, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing Akorda.
Kassym-Jomart Tokaev expressed his condolences to the President and the people of Nepal in connection with the numerous casualties resulting from the destructive earthquake in the western part of the country.
"I received the news of the loss of many lives and injuries due to the devastating earthquake in Nepal with deep sorrow. On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and personally, I express my condolences to you and the families who have lost their loved ones. I wish a speedy recovery to all those affected by this natural disaster and the safe return of the missing citizens to their families," the telegram reads.
It is worth noting that a powerful earthquake occurred in Nepal, and as of now, it is reported that 157 people have lost their lives, with dozens sustaining injuries. The earthquake took place in western Nepal during the night on Saturday.
