The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan successfully negotiated the safe departure of our citizens from the Gaza Sector.
Ninety-nine Kazakhstanis have been evacuated from the Gaza Sector to Almaty, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan through Sarbaz.kz.
"Today, a special evacuation flight safely transported 99 passengers—citizens of Kazakhstan and their family members—to Almaty. After completing all mandatory procedures at the airport, the evacuated citizens are provided with temporary accommodation and necessary legal, medical, and other assistance," the statement said.
Earlier, Sarbaz.kz reported that Kazakhstani nationals were transported from the Gaza Sector to Egypt. They were then brought to Almaty via a special flight from Cairo.
The successful evacuation was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Kazakhstan embassies in Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, along with the authorized bodies of these countries and international organizations. Following negotiations with the leadership of the foreign affairs departments in the Middle East region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan managed to secure an agreement for the safe and unconditional departure of our citizens from the Gaza Sector.
Kazakhstani diplomats will continue their efforts to organize evacuation measures and provide assistance to Kazakhstanis who remain in the conflict zone. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the beginning of the evacuation operation in the Gaza Sector, there were 161 citizens of Kazakhstan.
