Kazakhstan and Armed Forces Parachuting Competition Championship Commences in Almaty Region

The Almaty Region's Parachute Training Center has initiated competitions for classic parachute sports, featuring both individual and team events, as reported by Sarbaz.kz with reference to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the XXX Open Kazakhstan Championship and Armed Forces Parachuting Competition, 14 teams are participating. These include teams from the Airborne Assault Troops, Air Defense Forces, Military Unit 32039, as well as the National Guard, the Republican Aero Club of the public association "Otаn," regional federations of aviation sports, and the Aviation-Rescue Parachute Center in Karaganda. The teams consist of international-class sports masters, sports masters, and candidates for sports mastery, along with ranked athletes.

"Competitors will execute both individual and group jumps from altitudes ranging between 900 and 1200 meters, focusing on precision landing, as well as individual acrobatic jumps from a height of 2200 meters. The outcomes of the championship will contribute to the selection of national teams for parachuting from both the Armed Forces and Kazakhstan," the statement conveyed.
