Agreement on Military Cooperation Signed between Kazakhstan and Qatar

Kazakhstan's Defence Minister, Ruslan Zhaksylykov, made an official visit to Qatar.

A military delegation led by Kazakhstan's Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Ruslan Zhaksylykov, arrived in Qatar's capital, Doha, as reported by Sarbaz.kz citing the defence ministry's press release.

The visit took place upon the invitation of Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah.

According to the ministry's statement, this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

During the visit, both parties discussed prospective avenues for military cooperation that hold mutual interest.

Kazakhstan's Defence Minister, Ruslan Zhaxylykov, emphasised the significance of the meeting, considering it a pivotal milestone in the history of bilateral collaboration between defence ministries.

Following the discussions, an Agreement on Military Cooperation between the governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State of Qatar was signed.
