Colonel Olzhas Khussainov, Chief of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Defence, held a meeting with representatives from the French Embassy, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, referencing the ministry's press service.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the outcomes of their collaborative efforts in the field of military cooperation. Additionally, the tenure of Colonel Jean-Philippe Thardier, the former military attaché at the French Embassy in Kazakhstan, came to an end. At this meeting within the ministry, Colonel Thardier introduced his successor, Colonel Robert Azemann, as the new French Military Attaché in Kazakhstan.
Colonel Khussainov conveyed a letter of appreciation to Jean-Philippe Thardier on behalf of the Deputy Minister of Defence of Kazakhstan and extended his well wishes to the newly appointed military attaché, Colonel Robert Azemann, for a successful tenure in his new capacity.
