Educational Institutions Fined Nearly 5.5 Million KZT for Safety Violations

Violations were identified in over half of the inspected schools and kindergartens.

The heads of 24 educational institutions have been held accountable and fined over 5 million Tenge for violating safety regulations. This was reported by Marat Kozhaev, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, during a government meeting, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.

"The violations are mainly related to non-compliance with video surveillance standards, lack of panic buttons, turnstiles, or licensed security," said Marat Kozhaev, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A total of 56 educational institutions were subjected to inspections. Violations were found in more than half of the inspected schools and preschools, specifically in 2,900 establishments.
