Hazing does not exist within the Border Service of the National Security Committee (KNB) as conscripted soldiers serve only a single year. Consequently, the conscripts do not intersect, affirmed Colonel Erik Berikov, the Deputy Chief of the Department for Educational, Ideological, and Personnel Work of the Border Service of the KNB of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during a press conference at the Central Communications Center (SCC), as reported by Sarbaz.kz.

He also outlined the principal reasons behind soldier suicides within the military. In cases of accidents, meticulous official investigations are conducted for each incident, assured the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"Various factors contribute - familial, domestic, and certain psychological aspects. Gaming addiction exists. Instances have occurred where servicemen found themselves in financial obligations and made such decisions. Within our 'Preserve Life' program, measures are in place to prevent fatalities among the armed forces and other military formations," elaborated Colonel Erik Berikov.
