"During maritime combat operations, the Commander-in-Chief of the Naval Forces and the Commander of the Naval Base will oversee all naval forces from the deck of this ship. Therefore, it is considered the flagship of our Naval Forces. The ship meets all necessary modern requirements: in terms of armament, speed, protection, and provides all necessary conditions for the ship's crew," explained Colonel Zhumabek Hasenov.

Currently, around 300 servicemen are engaged in compulsory service in the Kazakh Navy. They are referred to as sailors on board the ship.

"The patriotic education of young lads is at a high level. Conscripts of May 2023 are currently showing good results in both combat and ideological training. Proof of this is the joint exercises with the Republic of Azerbaijan scheduled from October 2 to 8. Our conscripts will make up the backbone of the missile ships and assault battalion," reported Hasenov.
