In Karaganda, soldiers from the 52859th military unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, Junior Sergeant Temirlan Malmakov, and Private Dmitry Kaniskin, prevented a tragedy and rescued two people, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.

The soldiers were enjoying their leisure time with their families near a body of water when they noticed that one of the vacationers had jumped from a cliff, fractured his leg, and started drowning.

Temirlan and Dmitry immediately rushed into the water and rescued the man. Prior to the arrival of the ambulance crew, the soldiers provided first aid: they applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding and then handed over the injured person to the medics.

After some time, the soldiers heard cries for help. A woman in the water was experiencing an epileptic seizure. The soldiers pulled her out of the water, provided assistance, and she eventually regained consciousness.
