The "Batyl Toytarys-2023" military exercises in Kazakhstan, which marked the final phase of the Armed Forces' preparation for the current academic year, have concluded. The outcomes of the event were presented by Colonel Talgat Kenzhetayev, the Head of the Operational Planning Department, according to Sarbaz.kz, citing the official YouTube channel of the Ministry of Defense.

Colonel Talgat Kenzhetayev stated, "The goal of any exercise is to enhance the combat coordination of military units, test new forms and methods of conducting military operations in line with the trends in the development of military affairs, and evaluate the readiness of the Armed Forces."

He further explained that this year, the military practiced new methods of communication organization and overall command and control. All engineering work was carried out by conscripted soldiers, which contributed to their level of combat readiness, noted the military officer.

"The Special Operations Forces, in collaboration with the National Guard's special unit, practiced the liberation of strategically important state facilities captured by the simulated enemy. Unmanned aerial vehicles were extensively used for aerial reconnaissance, precise aviation targeting, and artillery fire support," the spokesperson added.

The "Batyl Toytarys-2023" strategic command-staff military exercises took place in multiple stages at training grounds in the Almaty, Karaganda, Mangystau, North Kazakhstan, and Abai regions, as well as in the Caspian Sea. Approximately 8,000 military personnel and 600 units of weaponry and military equipment participated, including 60 aircraft, 10 drones, and 12 vessels from the Naval Forces.
