The event is being conducted as part of a regular schedule and will last from September 12th to September 21st.
During the military training, military reservists called up for the training will retain their average wages. Those who successfully complete the training program will be awarded their next military ranks, stated Colonel (Reserve) Gani Artykov, a representative of the Department of Defense for the city of Astana, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.
Over the course of ten days, the military obligees will undergo training on various topics related to combat readiness. These topics include "Conducting Special Deployment of a Company," "Conducting Combat Coordination," "Organisation of Object Security and Defense," and "Counteraction to Sabotage Groups." A total of 78 military obligees were dispatched from the Department of Defense in Astana to Military Unit 99255.
Tiluekabyl Abutalapov, a military obligee, graduated from a military technical school in Karaganda in 2015 and, after seven years, hopes to recall the skills he acquired during that time.
"I believe that every man is obligated to undergo the trial of military service," said one of the participants. "This is not only necessary for the state but also for each of us. We should be ready to defend our homeland at any time."
As noted by the Department of Defense, military obligees will be provided with all the necessary resources during their training, and according to existing legislation, their workplace and average wages will be preserved during the period of military training.
