Kassym-Jomart Tokayev Visits Vietnam's Military History Museum

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan, is currently on an official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The head of state was provided with a briefing on the history of the museum complex's establishment and then shown a short documentary film titled "The Battle of Dien Bien Phu," as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing the Akorda press service.

Following this, President Tokayev toured the exhibition halls featuring various artifacts. The Royal Hanoi Citadel, where the military museum is situated, has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The museum's exhibition, displayed across thirty viewing halls, comprises approximately 160,000 items and documents related to the history of the formation and development of Vietnam's armed forces.

Visitors to the museum have the opportunity to view combat vehicles and weaponry that were directly involved in the country's fight for independence.
