Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom Strengthen Defense Cooperation

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Roman Vasilenko, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom, James Hippis. The discussion covered a range of issues related to the global and regional agenda, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, according to Sarbaz.kz.

During the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas of Kazakhstani-British cooperation, including in the field of defense. The Kazakhstani side expressed its interest in further deepening and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with the United Kingdom. The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized Kazakhstan's initiatives aimed at strengthening international cooperation and security.

Both sides noted the recent intensification of political contacts, the growth of trade and economic partnerships, and fruitful cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, they confirmed their mutual readiness to continue a constructive dialogue across the entire spectrum of Kazakhstani-British relations.
