Kazakhstan's Military Lawyers Share Their Experience with Armenian Colleagues

Armenian colleagues were briefed on how judicial processes are used to improve Kazakhstan's legislation.

Lawyers from the Armed Forces of Armenia visited Kazakhstan for an exchange of experiences, as reported by Sarbaz.kz citing the Ministry of Defense of the country.

Colonel of Justice Didar Abishev, the Head of the Legal Department of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Defense, welcomed the guests.

"We continuously work on improving the legal framework for the activities of the Armed Forces, strengthening the status of military personnel, and enhancing the attractiveness of military service. Therefore, it is important for us to know how this work is organized among our colleagues," stated Colonel of Justice Didar Abishev.

Kazakhstan's military lawyers explained how they receive reports from subordinate legal services, conduct an analysis of legal work, and manage the system of state procurement for the needs of the military.

They also shared with their Armenian counterparts how judicial processes in civil cases are used to further improve Kazakhstan's legislation.
