The international technological forum Digital Bridge has kicked off in Astana – one of the largest IT events in Kazakhstan, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in his address at the forum, emphasized the timeliness of the event, stating:

"Artificial intelligence is no longer science fiction but an emerging reality. Before our eyes, a new era is unfolding. Artificial intelligence technology is as revolutionary as electricity and the Internet were in their time. It has the potential to radically transform the way people live, automate many work processes, and create significant economic value. According to experts, the potential contribution of artificial intelligence to the global economy is comparable to a quarter of the global GDP. The widespread use of this technology could become a crucial driver for Kazakhstan's progress. To achieve this, it is necessary to create all the conditions for the development of artificial intelligence in the shortest possible time."

Over the past five years, the Digital Bridge forum has become the largest platform in Central Asia for discussing the latest trends and prospects in the IT industry. This year, Digital Bridge has attracted more than 20,000 participants, including representatives from over 300 IT companies and delegations from 30 countries.
