A 350-Seat Leisure Centre to be Constructed in the National Guard Military Township in Aktobe

The commissioning of a new two-storey cultural and leisure centre is scheduled for the autumn of 2024.

In Aktobe, the head of the region, Askhat Shakharov, visited the military unit of the 6655th regional command "Batis" of the National Guard of Kazakhstan, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing the press service of the "Batis" regional command.

The regional governor familiarised himself with the construction progress of a new two-story cultural and leisure centre, which is to accommodate 350 people and will be located within the military township. This centre is designed for the intellectual, moral, and spiritual development of military personnel and their families.

"The construction of the building began in early September, with commissioning planned for the autumn of 2024," as stated in the agency's report.

The regional governor also learned about the tasks performed by the military unit, their training and material base, and the living conditions of the personnel. He listened to the main issues related to combat readiness, military service, and the daily lives of conscripted servicemen and promised assistance in addressing these matters.
