Bomb shelters, or more precisely, protective structures, are intended for the use of employees of organizations that will work during times of armed conflict. Typically, they are constructed near important facilities, explained Sarym Sharipkhanov, the Minister of Emergency Situations, as reported by Sarbaz.kz. Information about the number of protective structures in the country is classified.

"The purpose of these protective structures is to provide shelter for the working shifts, meaning they are created near facilities that continue to function during special periods, such as during times of armed conflict. The rest of the population should be evacuated to safe areas or stay in their places of residence or take cover in basic enclosed structures, such as basements or the subway," said the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Syrym Sharipkhanov.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations is developing a scientific project involving container-based protective structures for the population. A prototype of such a structure exists in one of the fire departments in Astana. Additionally, people will be able to take shelter in parking lots and other underground structures, according to Sarym Sharipkhanov, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
