To verify any military activities or major military exercises requiring prior notification in the inspected area, Kazakh military experts performed an aerial reconnaissance of the designated zone.

The inspection proceeded in an atmosphere of cooperation and transparency. Kazakhstan's inspection group confirmed full compliance with international obligations under the Vienna Document and expressed gratitude to the representatives of the Danish Armed Forces for their assistance in conducting the inspection.
