Kazakh Boxer Disqualified in Debut Match in the United States

The Kazakh boxer was penalised for a low blow.

In Tulsa, USA, the promising boxers Jan Kosobutsky (19-1, 18 KO) from Kazakhstan and Efe Ajagba (18-1, 14 KO) from Nigeria met in the heavyweight limit, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.

The bout was scheduled for 10 rounds but concluded in the fourth round with the disqualification of the Kazakh fighter.

In the third round, Kosobutsky struck his opponent below the belt twice, resulting in a deduction of points. Interestingly, when the Kazakh boxer received a low blow, there was no reprimand for his opponent.

In the fourth round, the Kazakh fighter once again landed a low blow on the Nigerian boxer, leading the referee to decide to stop the match.

As a result, Kosobutsky suffered a disqualification loss. This marked his first career defeat with 19 wins, while Ajagba celebrated his 18th victory with one loss.

For Jan Kosobutsky, this was his first fight in the United States, as he had primarily competed in Europe before this.
