Kazakhstani Athlete Earns License for 2024 Paralympic Games

Kazakhstani athlete Bibarys Spatai has secured a license for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris in the sport of kayaking and paracanoe. This achievement was announced by Sarbaz.kz, citing the news channel "Khabar 24."

Spatai claimed fifth place at the ongoing World Championships in Germany.

"Here, it was all about mental resilience because it was cold, windy, and rainy. Everyone started to panic at some point, thinking that the event might get postponed. But I waited for my moment," Spatai shared in an interview with the television channel.

Bibarys Spatai is the Asian champion and a finalist in the Paracanoe World Cup. He also participated in the 2021 Paralympics in Tokyo.
