Kazakhstani Shooters Shine at Asian Games

Kazakhstani shooters have secured three gold medals at the Asian Games in China, as reported by Sarbaz.kz.

Asem Orynbay and Eduard Yeshchenko clinched yet another gold medal in trap shooting. The day before, the Kazakhstani women's team in trap shooting brought home the first gold for the Asian Games. The team consisted of Zoya Kravchenko, Asem Orynbay, and Olga Panarina. Another gold medal for Kazakhstan was earned by Zukhra Irnazanova in the discipline of pistol shooting.

In total, the Kazakhstani national team has earned 20 medals: 3 gold, 3 silver, and 14 bronze.

Asem Orynbay is a servicewoman of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a sergeant in the Practical and Trap Shooting Team of the Sports Committee of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan - Central Sports Club. She holds the title of Master of Sport at the international level and ranks fifth globally and first in the national standings in trap shooting.
