The Dubai Air Show 2023 stands as one of the largest exhibitions in the aerospace industry outside the "Western" sphere, providing an opportunity to showcase products to potential customers and partners. Russia is keen on attracting new clients for its fifth-generation fighter, the Su-57E, an export version, and partners for participation in the Su-75 development program.

According to the Interfax news agency, the Federal Service of Russia for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS) has expressed readiness to explore the export of the fifth-generation Su-57 fighter if inquiries come from foreign customers.

"The Su-57 is the latest fifth-generation fighter. Today, the main task is to fulfill the state defense order and meet the needs of the Russian customer, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. If our foreign partners approach us, we are ready to start working on this issue," stated company representatives.

The Su-75 is a project for a light multi-role combat aircraft of a new generation developed by Sukhoi. It incorporates advanced technical solutions adapted from technologies already developed for aircraft such as the Su-57 or MiG-35. It was first presented to the public at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 and was also featured at the Dubai Air Show 2021, highlighting Russia's interest in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other potential clients in the Middle East and the Asian region.

While the first flight of the Su-75 is expected in 2025, and mass production will commence in 2027, there is still a long way to go in developing new variants (such as an unmanned version). This leaves the possibility open for foreign partners to join the program, especially those with significant financial capabilities, such as the UAE.
