The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has issued an official statement regarding the condition of Kazakh citizens involved in a road accident in Turkey.
Out of the 12 Kazakh citizens involved in the traffic accident in Turkey, two are in moderate condition. They have already undergone surgery, and all necessary medical assistance is being provided to them, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
"For the remaining 10 compatriots, including 4 children, their condition is satisfactory, and there is no threat to their lives. All of them are covered by medical insurance. Kazakh diplomats in Antalya are in contact with our citizens and are conducting the necessary work," stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
Earlier, a Kazakhstani consul immediately traveled to Alanya to ascertain all the circumstances. He visited medical facilities and met with the affected fellow countrymen.
On the morning of July 30, a road traffic accident involving a minibus carrying 12 Kazakh citizens occurred in Alanya. According to preliminary data from the Turkish police, the minibus driver collided with a truck at high speed. As a result of the collision, there were casualties, and the injured were promptly transported to nearby hospitals.
