It is anticipated that the upper chamber of Congress will commence deliberations on the bill this week.
The budget proposal encompasses funding for national defense programs, a 5.2% increase in military pay, reinforcement of overall military readiness, and missile defense.
The project garnered support from 219 voting congressmen, with 210 individuals opposing it.
The White House had requested an historically unprecedented budget of $842 billion for the Pentagon in 2024. This figure exceeds the 2023 budget volumes by $26 billion.
