Indonesia has entered into a contract with Turkish Aerospace Industries for the acquisition of 12 ANKA unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at a total value of $300 million, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, referencing MilitaryLeak.
The UAVs are expected to be integrated into the armed forces by November 2025. Indonesia will also receive training, logistical support, associated equipment, and a two-year warranty period or 600 flight hours.
It is noteworthy that active trials of the Turkish ANKA UAV are underway in Kazakhstan. In the event of successful testing, the Anka unmanned system is poised to be adopted by the Kazakh military.
