The use of drones without state registration will be prohibited in Belarus. They must be included in a special database. This information is part of a draft amendment to the Air Code, which has been published on the National Legal Internet Portal, according to Sarbaz.kz.

Additionally, a new definition for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is provided.

"An aircraft designed to perform flights without a crew on board, controlled by a UAV operator from a control point (station), including without visual contact with the said aircraft, or in a specified autonomous mode, or a combination of these methods," the document states.

In 2021, Belarus expanded the areas where the use of drones is prohibited. The total area of these zones increased to 1,044 square kilometers, doubling the previous coverage.
